In August we will start construction of Phase One of the Grace Beyond building project. Phase One will address two of the main priorities that the elders believe God has asked our church to address:
The Prayer Garden, to be constructed near Entrance C, will be a tangible representation of our belief that prayer is essential to our lives as God’s people. It will reflect our commitment to spend time in relationship with our Creator both individually and corporately.
Student Ministries Space
During Phase One our current Gym will be renovated to serve as designated space for middle school, high school and college students to worship and build community with their peers. The updated area will also include a basketball court to be utilized for children’s and adult ministry events.
Beginning in early July, the construction manager for the Grace Beyond building project, Erhardt Construction, will be advertising for bids from pre-qualified, licensed contractors and suppliers for Phase One. When the plans are available, the project will be published on Erhardt Constructions Online Plan Room and in the Grand Rapids Builders Exchange publication and plan room. If you would like your company to be considered in the bidding process and have not previously contracted for work with Erhardt Construction or have any questions, contact Dale Bramer at (616) 676-1222 or (616) 825-2926.
Calvary Clean-Up Crew
During Phase One of Grace Beyond, we will need volunteers on Saturdays from 8am-12pm to help clean up the site around the construction area to prepare for the Sunday services. If you or your community group would like to be on a rotating work crew, contact Stacy Armbrester (email@example.com) at ext. 5095.
